Contractor marketing and Google Ads, built around booked projects

Evergreen Ads is a digital marketing and lead generation service for contractors. We manage Google Ads, Local Services Ads and Meta ads for general contractors, renovators and builders, and track every call and form, so you know which ads started the projects that got built.

Free. 20 minutes. No obligation.

What a tracked lead looks like

  1. Someone searches"kitchen renovation contractor near me"
  2. They see your ad and clickThe click is logged to that search
  3. They call or fill out your formThe call or form is tied to that ad
  4. The job gets bookedGoogle learns which leads were worth having

We set up tracking so you can see all four steps.

Where contractor ad money goes missing

  • Clicks from people who are not ready

Browsers pricing a project they may never start, and shoppers after the cheapest quote.

  • Calls for the wrong jobs

Work you do not take, in places you do not go.

  • Long decisions nobody tracks

A renovation lead can take weeks to decide. Without tracking, the ad that started it gets no credit.

What your free audit covers

A 20-minute call. We look at your account together.

  • Which calls and forms are actually tracked
  • Search terms eating your budget, like DIY, job and supplier searches
  • Whether your ads match the project types you want
  • What I'd change first

Built for general contractors and renovators that book projects by phone or form: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and new builds. Not running ads yet? The audit works for that too.

What you get with Evergreen

What is behind each option in your quote.

  • Google Ads

Campaigns built around the projects you want most, split by project type. Tight keywords, a long list of negative keywords, and location settings that match the areas you work.

  • Local Services Ads

Pay-per-lead ads at the top of local search results. We help you set up your profile, then manage and optimize your budget and bids. Availability depends on your trade and area, and we check on the call. It's an add-on to Google Ads.

  • Meta ads

Facebook and Instagram campaigns built around project showcases and offers in your service area, with a lead form or call setup so every lead is tracked.

  • Call and form tracking

Every call and form fill is tied to the ad that caused it. Booked jobs get sent back to Google so it learns what a good lead looks like, even when the project books weeks later.

  • Monthly report in plain English

What you spent, how many calls and forms it produced, what we changed and what we're doing next.

How it starts

  2. We look at your account and your tracking.

How we build contractor campaigns

A deck repair and a kitchen renovation do not belong in the same campaign. We split them by project type, so each one gets its own budget, message and tracking.

  • Renovations

Kitchens, bathrooms and basements. Big projects with long decisions, so the ads aim for a consult call or form fill, and tracking follows the lead for as long as it takes.

  • Additions and new builds

Home additions and custom builds. Fewer searches and much larger jobs, so these get tightly chosen keywords and a message about how you work.

  • Repairs and smaller projects

Decks, fences, drywall and other fix-it work. Quick decisions, kept separate so they do not compete with large projects for budget.

  • Commercial and tenant improvements

If you take commercial work, it gets its own campaign so it never shares a budget with home projects.

Searches we block, so you do not pay for them

DIY and how-to searches, job listings and trades school searches, supplier and material searches, and project types or areas you do not take.

When contractor demand moves

Project interest moves with the seasons, and many leads decide weeks after they first search. We watch your leads month to month and match budget to the work you want next.

Questions

Is the audit really free?

Yes. No strings.

Do you guarantee leads?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. What you get is tracking on every call and form, so you can see exactly what your ad spend produced.

How does a contractor get more renovation leads?

Show up for the project searches homeowners make, aim the ad at a consult call or form, and track each lead for as long as the decision takes, since renovation leads often book weeks later.

Renovation leads take weeks to decide. Can you track that?

Yes. Each call and form is tied to the ad that caused it, and booked jobs are sent back to Google even when the project books weeks later. That is how Google learns which leads were worth having.

Can you run ads for only the project types I want?

Yes. Campaigns are split by project type, so you can push kitchens and additions, skip small repairs, and change the mix whenever your schedule changes.

Is there a contract?

6 months minimum, then month to month. After that, cancel with 30 days' notice.

Who runs my account?

I do. I manage every account myself, and nothing changes without my say-so.

Do I own my ad account?

Yes. The account stays in your name, and your ad budget is paid straight to Google or Meta.

What are Local Services Ads?

Ads at the top of local search results where you pay per lead instead of per click. Whether they're available depends on your trade and where you work, and we check that on the call.

Who runs your account

Evergreen Ads is the paid ads side of Evergreen Creative Co., a small marketing agency in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. I run every account myself, so the person you talk to is the person making the changes.

We work with trades businesses across North America and Europe.

Kitchen and bathroom searches brought the most leads at 58.46 each. Addition and new build searches cost more per lead, 98.68, because those are much larger projects. 85.00 went to searches that were never going to book, and we blocked them.

What we changed

  • Sept 9Sent August's 8 booked jobs back to Google, so it learns which clicks turn into work.
  • Sept 16Blocked 11 searches that do not fit, including the four above.
  • Sept 23Paused one addition keyword that spent without producing a lead.

What we are doing next

  • Check in the October report whether the blocked searches stopped costing money.
  • Look at which addition keywords bring clicks but no consult calls, and tighten them.
  • Keep sending booked jobs back to Google every month.
